This interactive project is a response to one of the many stories told by Uncle Greg Simms, an Aboriginal Elder living in Western Sydney, with ancestral ties to the Gundungurra people of the Blue Mountains and the Gadigal people of the Darug nation.
The brief asked to retell the story through an interactive experience using creative coding, whilst being culturally aware and sensitive to Indigenous contexts.
I responded with a narrative that lead the viewer through a range of click based interactions in a web app. The work employed my illustration, animation and coding skills to re-tell a coming of age story as the character gains experience and knowledge through her journey.
